Nylon membrane filters are flexible, durable and tear resistant and can be autoclaved at 121°C it has high strength and heat resistance. It is used for HPLC sample preparation, to sterilize biological solutions or buffers of for vacuum degassing and compatible with many aqueous, alcohols solvents, bases, most HPLC solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons and THF.
